RENAISSANCE ACHIEVEMENTS
The MACC Singers, the renaissance of a previous group of the 1980's , are a combination of students from the Cornwall College and Mount Alvernia High Schools, located in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The MACC Singers are dedicated to achieving excellence and strive for nothing less as they work by their motto: "Excellence without Excuse".
The MACC Singers was revived in November of 2011 under the leadership of Cedron Walters and Mr. Vinton H. F. Haughton. During the first year of the MACC renaissance, the choir received the following prestigious titles (2012):
Most Outstanding Group in Music for the Parish of St. James
Most Outstanding Teacher in Music for the Parish of St. James (V. Haughton)
Most Outstanding Student Leader in Music for the Parish of St. James (C. S. Walters)
Most Outstanding High School Choir Performance at the National Music Finals
Choral Music Champion at the JCDC National Music finals
Also in 2012 the MACC Choral Society copped 18 medals in the annual JCDC Performing Arts Competition in the area of Music; these included seven gold, eight silver and five bronze medals.
MACC continues to work hard in achieving excellence as they prepare to defend their titles and entertain their audiences with their professional attitude and harmonic sound.

SEASON TWO ACHIEVEMENTS
The MACC Singers being in their second renaissance season, are the proud two-time champion choir int the JCDC's Music Festival. The MACC Singers was the first choir in Jamaica to receive the Dr. Olive Lewin Award for Excellence in Choral Music. The singers, also are the proud recipients of 7 national awards for music in total for the performing arts season 2013.

THE BLESSINGS OF SEASON THREE
By the grace of God, despite the many challenges, the MACC Singers in their third renaissance season and for the third consecutive time were crowned champion choir in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's Music Festival on June 04, 2014. Not only were the singers able to repeat a golden streak at the parish level, but they were able to return to Montego Bay with 7 National awards for their 2014 seasons's efforts.

SEASON FOUR - THE TRANSITIONING SEASON
This season saw the choir being made up of mainly new vocalists. Despite the many changes, the MACC Singers managed to uphold the standard set by the previous group. The achievements of the group in the annual JCDC National Music Festival Finals include:
